Women’s lacrosse team drops 18-1 decision at Alma
The Olivet College women’s lacrosse team was defeated by Alma College, 18-1, tonight in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association game at Bahlke Field in Alma.

ALMA, Mich. – The Olivet College women's lacrosse team was defeated by Alma College, 18-1, tonight in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association game at Bahlke Field in Alma.
The Scots led 11-0 at halftime behind goals by seven different players. Alma stretched its lead to 15-0 before senior Cecilia Bayne scored on a free-position attempt to put the Comets on the scoreboard. The Scots capped their scoring with the final three goals.
Bayne finished the game with both of Olivet's shots. Senior Jessica Doster had a team-best four groundballs. Junior Xavier Vance collected three saves, while playing all 60 minutes in goal.
The Comets stay on the road to face Kalamazoo College Saturday at 1 p.m.
