The Olivet College women’s lacrosse team fell to Saint Mary’s (Ind.) College, 20-0, in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association contest this afternoon at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet.

OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College women's lacrosse team fell to Saint Mary's (Ind.) College, 20-0, in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association contest this afternoon at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet.
The Belles scored 14 goals in the first half and six more in the second half for their 20 total goals. The Comets' scoring opportunities all came in the second half. The best chance was in the final seconds of the game when sophomore Mary Dalrymple's free-position shot attempt sailed high above the cage.
Olivet won 11 of the 22 draw controls, with senior Jessica Doster winning a team-best five. Dalrymple and freshman Hannah Cook recorded a team-best four ground balls apiece. Junior Xavier Vance played the entire game in goal and made four saves.
The Comets travel to play Alma College Tuesday night at 6 p.m.
