The women’s lacrosse team ended its 2011 campaign with a two losses to Indiana Tech, 22-1 and 19-1, tonight at Warrior Field in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Olivet College women's lacrosse team ended its 2011 campaign with a two losses to Indiana Tech, 22-1 and 20-1, tonight at Warrior Field in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
In the first game, senior Veronica Maidens (Arcadia/Onekama) scored the Comets' only goal. Sophomore Kate Cole (Union City) played the entire game in goal and made 10 saves. In the second game, junior Cara VanDam (Grand Rapids/City) had Olivet's goal. Freshman Sara Wegener (Lansing/Lansing Catholic) collected 16 saves, while playing all 60 minutes in net.
Olivet finishes their its season as a varsity sport with a 2-8 record.
