Women’s Golf: Olivet finishes eighth at MIAA Spring Finale, Rayna Honsowitz receives MIAA Sportsmanship Award

AUGUSTA, Mich. –The University of Olivet women's golf team ended its season with an eighth-place finish at the 2024 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Spring Finale. The Comets hosted the two-day tournament at the Gull Lake View West Course. At the conclusion of the tournament, it was announced that Rayna Honsowitz received the 2024 MIAA Sportsmanship Award.

- The Comets posted a two-round total of 719 (364-355) strokes.
- Adrian College took first with a 657 (327-330).
- Grace Dubec from Trine (Ind.) University earned medalist honors with a two-day total of 152 strokes.
- With its second-place total of 664 strokes, Saint Mary's (Ind.) College captured the 2024 MIAA Championship and earned the league's automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA Division III National Championships in May.
- Sophomore Ella LaMothe topped Olivet with a two-day total of 171 (86-85).
- Junior Rylee Honsowitz finished two strokes behind at 173 (87-86).
- Rayna Honsowitz carded a 184 (93-91).
- Sophomore Sedona Bonter totaled 191 (98-93) strokes. The 93 matched her career low for a par 72 course.
- Freshman Breanna Ramos completed her two rounds in 228 (106-122) strokes.
