Women’s golf team is runner-up MIAA Jamboree #2
The Olivet College women’s golf team was the runner-up at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Jamboree #2, played at the Hills of Lenawee Golf Club in Adrian.

ADRIAN, Mich. – The Olivet College women's golf team was the runner-up at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Jamboree #2, played at the Hills of Lenawee Golf Club in Adrian.

Par / Yardage: 72 / 5,808 yards
- The Comets carded a 330 team score, which was just four strokes behind team champion Saint Mary's (Ind.) College. Calvin University was third at 339, followed by Hope College, 346; Trine (Ind.) University, 355; Adrian College, 361; Albion College, 364; Alma College, 370; and Kalamazoo College, 409.
- Hunter Kehoe from Saint Mary's was the individual medalist with a five-over par 77.
- Senior Nicole Deweyert placed second in the player standings with a 78. She tied for first in par 3 scoring at even (3.00), and par 4 scoring at +1 (4.13). Deweyert's round included 11 pars and two birdies.
- Senior Taylor Elley shared fifth-place in the player standings with an 81. She was the only golfer to record an eagle, as she had a 2 on the par 4, 383-yard No. 1 hole. Elley also tallied a birdie and nine pars.
- Sophomore Erin Taylor tied for eighth with an 84. She had the second-best score on the par 5s, shooting +1.
- Junior Crystal Lettinga shot an 87.
- Freshman Aynslee Myer completed Olivet's lineup with an 89.
- After two jamborees, the Comets now sit in second-place in the MIAA seasonal standings with 674 strokes. Saint Mary's is in first at 638. Hope is third at 680, followed by Calvin, 681; Trine, 693; Alma, 704; Albion, 712; Adrian, 712; and Kalamazoo, 801.
- The Comets continue MIAA play Saturday with the third jamboree at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Indiana.
