DANVILLE, Ind. – The Olivet College women's golf team was sixth at the 2019 Dan Quayle Collegiate Classic, hosted by DePauw (Ind.) University and at the Twin Bridges Golf Course in Danville, Indiana.

- After carding a 344 in Saturday's first round, the Comets dropped four strokes off their team score in today's second round to give them a two-day total of 684 strokes.
- Denison (Ohio) University won the team title with a 622 (309-313). Rhodes (Tenn.) College took second at 642 (321-321), followed by Illinois Wesleyan University (648), the host Tigers (649) and Centre (Ky.) College (655).
- Melanie Wolf from Illinois Wesleyan was the individual medalist with a two-day score of 150 strokes.
- Senior Nicole Deweyert had Olivet's best total with a 163, including a six-over par 78 in today's final round.
- Senior Taylor Elley shot a two-day total of 170 (86-84) strokes.
- Sophomore Erin Taylor was next at 175 (84-91).
- Junior Crystal Lettinga posted a 182 (89-93), and freshman Aynslee Myer was a stroke behind with a 183 (96-87).
- The Comets resume Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Tuesday for its second jamboree at the Hills of Lenawee Golf Club in Adrian.
