Women’s golf team finishes sixth at MIAA Jamboree #1
The Olivet College women’s golf team finished in sixth-place at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree #1, played today at the Pine River Country Club in Alma.

ALMA, Mich. – The Olivet College women's golf team finished in sixth-place at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree #1, played today at the Pine River Country Club in Alma.

Par / Yardage: 72 / 5,804 yards
- The Comets returned to the clubhouse with 344 team score.
- Defending MIAA champion Saint Mary's (Ind.) took first-place with a 312. Alma College and Hope College tied for second with matching 334s. Trine (Ind.) University was fourth at 338, followed by Calvin College in fifth at 342.
- Hunter Kehoe and Summer Stillson from Saint Mary's shared medalist honors with 74s.
- Senior Nicole Deweyert placed fourth in player standings with a 78.
- Senior Taylor Elley carded an 85.
- Sophomore Erin Taylor shot a 90.
- Junior Crystal Lettinga was a stroke behind with a 91.
- Freshman Aynslee Myer rounded out the Olivet lineup with a 95.
- The Comets are idle until Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 21-22, when they compete in the Dan Quayle Collegiate Classic, hosted by DePauw (Ind.) University and played at the Twin Bridges Golf Course in Danville, Indiana.
