HARROD, Ohio – The Olivet College women's golf team is tied for second-place after the first round of the Ohio Northern University Polar Bear Invitational at the Colonial Golfers Club in Harrod, Ohio.

- The Comets shot a 350 team score to sit in a tie with Otterbein (Ohio) University for second-place.
- University of Northwestern Ohio leads the 11-team field with a 333.
FOR THE COMETS
- Senior Laura Bacso is fourth in the player standings with an 84.
- Freshman Nicole Deweyert is a stroke behind with an 85 to share fifth-place in the player standings.
- Olivet's next three golfers – freshman Molly Morey, freshman Ashley Folleth and sophomore Hayley Cooper are all separated by one stroke at 90, 91 and 92, respectively.
