Women’s golf team takes fourth at Trine Fall Invitational
The Olivet College women’s golf team took fourth-place at the 2016 Trine University Fall Invitational, played at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Indiana.

ANGOLA, Ind. – The Olivet College women's golf team took fourth-place at the 2016 Trine University Fall Invitational, played at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Indiana.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Comets returned to the club house with a 333 team score.
- University of Northwestern Ohio won the team title with 320. Trine was second at 328 and Cleary University placed third at 331.
- Natalie Quintero from Northwestern Ohio and Madison Smith from Cleary shared first-place with 76s.
FOR THE COMETS
- Senior Laura Bacso along with freshmen Ashley Folleth and Molly Morey all shot an 80 for Olivet's best round to tie for fifth-place in the player standings. The 80 was a season-best score for Folleth and Morey.
- Sophomore Hayley Cooper shot a 93.
- Freshman Taylor Elley carded a 98.
UP NEXT
- Olivet now turns its attention to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play. The first of four league jamborees is next Monday, Sept. 19, at The Medalist Golf Club in Marshall. Albion College is the host school.
