MARSHALL, Mich. – The Olivet College women's golf team finished in fourth,-place at the 2016 Kyle Campbell Classic. The Comets hosted the tournament on their home course, The Medalist Golf Club in Marshall.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Comets improved their team score by five strokes from yesterday's round with a 327 for a two-day total of 659 strokes.
- DePauw (Ind.) University posted a 309 team score to slip past Hope College by seven strokes, 631-638, for the team title with a 631. Carthage (Wis.) College was third at 645.
- Rachele Miller earned medalist honors with a 150 (73-77).
FOR THE COMETS
- Senior Laura Bacso carded a two-day total of 177 (78-79) strokes to tie for fifth in the player standings.
- Freshman Nicole Deweyert shared 11th-place in the player standings with a 164 (80-84).
- Freshman Ashley Folleth shot six strokes better today with an 81 for a two-day total of 168 strokes.
- Sophomore Hayley Cooper completed her two rounds in 175 (87-88) strokes.
- Freshman Molly Morey had the most improvement for the Comets. After shooting a 95 in the first round, she dropped 12 strokes off her total today for an 83 and two-day total of 178.

- Olivet will participate in the Trine Invitational next Wednesday, Sept. 14, at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Indiana.
