HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Comets posted a 332 team score.
- Hope College is in first-place with a 319, followed by DePauw (Ind.) University, 325; and Carthage (Wis.) College, 332. Alma College and North Central (Ill.) College are tied for fifth with 347s.
- Rachele Miller from DePauw is the individual leader with a one-over par 73.
FOR THE COMETS
- Senior Laura Bacso shares third-place in the player standings with a 78. During her round she had one birdie, 10 pars and seven bogeys.
- Freshman Nicole Deweyert is tied for sixth-place with an 80. She had one birdie, nine pars, seven bogeys and one double bogey.
- Sophomore Hayley Cooper and freshman Ashley Folleth both shot an 87.
- Freshman Molly Morey finished her round in 95 strokes.
- Freshman Taylor Elley played as an individual scorer and carded an 89.
- Sophomore Rachel Stoneburner was also an individual scorer and had a 90.
