Bio

Peter Sabiiti starts his third season as the head women's basketball coach at The University of Olivet in 2023-24.

Prior to joining the Olivet staff in August 2021, Sabiiti spent the five previous seasons as the assistant varsity and head junior varsity men’s basketball coach at Aquinas College. While there, he assisted with all facets of the program, including  recruiting of prospective student-athletes, mentoring student-athletes, assessing given strengths and weaknesses of players and advancing skill sets to perform successfully, and planning and instructing camps and clinics. In addition, he has worked as a parenting nurturing direct care worker at Arbor Circle in Grand Rapids since March 2015.

Sabiiti earned a bachelor’s of arts degree from Aquinas in 2014 and master’s degree in ministry and leadership from Cornerstone University in 2020. As a student at Aquinas, he played basketball for two seasons before becoming a student assistant coach for his final two seasons.
