FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Olivet College women's basketball team was upended by Franklin (Ind.) College, 87-29, today at the Spurlock Center in Franklin, Indiana.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Grizzlies took an eight-point lead, 11-3, in the first quarter. Olivet scored the final five points of the quarter, including the last two on a fastbreak layup by junior Ayren Parrish at the buzzer to make the score 11-8.
- Franklin outscored the Comets, 27-3, in the second quarter to pull away and lead 38-11 at the halftime break.
- In the third quarter, the Grizzlies did nearly the same thing as the second, as they had a plus 24 scoring margin, 28-4, to go up by 51 points, 66-15.
- Franklin's lead in the fourth quarter surged to as many as 65 points, 85-20. Olivet scored nine of the final 11 points to create the final margin.
FOR THE COMETS
- For the game, the Comets made only eight baskets, with one three-pointer, and 12 free throws for their 29 points.
- Senior Jillian Nickels scored a game-high 14 points, including 7-of-8 shooting from the charity stripe.
- Freshman Jazmin Hildebrand grabbed a game-best six rebounds.
FOR THE GRIZZLIES
- Franklin shot 53.4 percent from the floor and 74.1 percent from the free throw line.
- All 16 players who played in the game scored at least one point.
- Sarah Taylor led the way with 13 points.
- Emily Alfrey and Riley Achenbach finished with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
- Melissa Beer pulled down a team-best five rebounds.
