Cross Country: Olivet runs at LCC Invitational

LANSING, Mich. – The University of Olivet cross country teams ran this afternoon at the 2023 Lansing Community College Invitational held today at Grand Woods Park. The Comet women were seventh of 14 schools, while the men were 17th of 19 schools.

- UO Women: 7th of 14 (227 points)
- UO Men: 17th of 19 (498 points)
- Top UO Women's Individual: Abbey Peters, 31st of 163
- Top UO Men's Individual: Anthony DeVito, 117th of 185
- Junior Abbey Peters was the Comets' top finisher, as she placed 31st of 163 runners. Her time was 20 minutes and 36.8 seconds for the 5K course.
- Sophomore Sarah Grove had a time of 21 minutes and 41.5 seconds to finish 59th.
- Freshman Aaliyah Cota completed the race in 21 minutes and 50 seconds for a 66th-place finish.
- Senior Allyson Stevens was next at 22 minutes and 20.9 seconds to place 78th.
- Sophomore Anthony DeVito posted Olivet's best finish, as he was 117th with a time of 30 minutes and 6.8 seconds for the 8K course.
- Freshman Dade Allen was next at 31 minutes and 24.3 seconds.
- Junior Noah Feudi covered the course in 32 minutes and 25.6 seconds.
- The Comets compete next Friday, September 29, at the Calvin Knight Invite. The races at South Christian High School start at 5:15 p.m. for the women and 6 p.m. for the men.
