Men’s cross country team places 31st at Pre-National Meet
EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Olivet College men’s cross country team hosted some of the nation’s best teams for the 2022 Pre-National Meet today at the Forest Akers East Golf Course. The Comets finished 31st of 36 schools.

EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Olivet College men's cross country team hosted some of the nation's best teams for the 2022 Pre-National Meet today at the Forest Akers East Golf Course. The Comets finished 31st of 36 schools.
- Location: Forest Akers East Golf Course; East Lansing, Michigan
- Team Finish: 31 of 36 schools / 943 points
- Massachusetts Institute of Technology, ranked No. 2 in the most recent USTFCCCA Coaches Poll, won the men's team title, while No. 5-ranked North Central (Ill.) College was the runner-up.
- Ethan Gregg from University of Wis.-La Crosse took first-place by more than nine seconds over the second-place runner with a time of 24:12.3.
- Olivet finished ahead three fellow Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association schools – Kalamazoo College (980 points), Alma College (1067) and Albion College (1122).
- Junior Chris Davis was the first Olivet runner to finish, as he covered the 8K course in 26:48.8.
- Junior Hunter Hillard clocked-in at 27:54.2.
- Sophomore Noah Feudi completed the race in 28:49.7.
- Junior Hayden Germain crossed the finish line in 29:06.7.
- Freshman Anthony DeVito had a time of 31:11.0.
- Olivet competes Friday, October 14, at the Concordia University-Ann Arbor Invitational.
