Men’s cross country team wraps-up season with 23rd-place finish at NCAA Regional
The Olivet College men’s cross country team finished in 23rd-place today at the 2015 NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional, hosted by Rose-Hulman (Ind.) Institute of Technology at the Lavern Gibson Championships Course in Terra Haute, Indiana.
TERRA HAUTE, Ind. – The Olivet College men's cross country team finished in 23rd-place today at the 2015 NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional, hosted by Rose-Hulman (Ind.) Institute of Technology at the Lavern Gibson Championships Course in Terra Haute, Indiana.
The men totaled 614 points to finish ahead of 12 schools, including Adrian, Kalamazoo and Alma from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association. Wabash (Ind.) College took first-place with 99 points. Allegheny (Pa.) College placed second with 101 points.
Senior Nicholas Roberge-Ferris was the first Olivet runner across the finish line, as he covered the 8K course in 26:52.7 to place 75th out of 242 runners. Sophomore Bruce Baker was next in 26:55.1. Juniors Connor Bauserman and Blake Wilson finished in 27:51.2 and 27:52.2, respectively.
