Bio

Gabe Murley is in his first season as the head men's volleyball coach at The University of Olivet in 2024. He also serves as an assistant coach for the Comet women's volleyball program. During the 2022-23 academic year, Murley was an assistant athletic director.

Prior to joining the Olivet staff in June 2022, Murley served as varsity girls’ volleyball coach at Lansing Everett High School from June 2016 to July 2020. He was the athletic director during the 2021-22 academic year. Murley also has volleyball coaching experience at Britton-Deerfield High School, Ballistic Volleyball Club and Siena Volleyball Academy.

Murley earned a bachelor’s degree in Spanish language and literature from Siena Heights in 2014. He was a four-year player on the men’s volleyball team for the Saints, serving as a team captain in 2014.
