OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College men's volleyball team fell to Milwaukee School of Engineering (Wis.) in three sets tonight at The Cutler Event Center in Olivet. The Raiders entered the match ranked No. 14 in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association poll.
THE BASICS

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Raiders scored the first three points of the opening set. The Comets closed the gap to a single point twice, with the last time being 7-6. Olivet did not get any closer for the rest of the set, as MSOE won it, 25-17.
- With an exception of a 1-0, the Raiders never trailed in the second set.
- The Comets led by two points on three occasions, 3-1, 4-2 and 5-3, to start the third set. MSOE battled back and eventually led by seven points, 21-14. Olivet did not go down without a fight. The Comets put seven of the next nine points on the scoreboard to cut their deficit down to just two points, 23-21. A kill and service ace let the Raiders win the set, 25-21.
FOR THE COMETS
- Olivet recorded 19 kills in the match.
- Freshmen Brock Pringle and Trent Robinson each had six.
- Senior Luke DeWitt led the Comets with 10 digs.
- DeWitt and freshman Mathew Caamal both had four assisted blocks.
- Freshman Aaron Giorgi dished out 11 set assists.
FOR THE RAIDERS
- MSOE slammed down 39 kills, with Jake Christensen and Joe Humpal each having 10.
- Andrew Miller registered a match-best 20 set assists and 11 digs.

- Olivet wraps-up its home schedule tomorrow when it hosts Wittenberg (Ohio) University for a pair of MCVL matches and Illinois Institute of Technology for a non-conference match. The day starts at noon.
