Brown and Chandler earn USTFCCCA All-American honors
NEW ORLEANS, La. – The University of Olivet senior Jordon Brown and freshman DeVondre Chandler have both earned All-American honors, according to the United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
At the 2024 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships, Brown was eighth in the 200-meter dash to earn All-American First Team honors. Beginning this year, the USTFCCCA awarded All-American Second Team honors to individuals who had the ninth through 16th fastest times in the preliminaries. Thus, Brown is also an All-American Second Team honoree after posting the 10th-fastest preliminary time in the 400-meter dash at 48.24 seconds.
Chandler earns All-American First Team honors after finishing sixth in the high jump with a 6 foot, 8-1/4-inch clearance. The mark tied his own school record.
