Men’s Indoor Track & Field: Olivet competes at SVSU Tune-Up

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – The University of Olivet men's track and field team posted several personal-best performances today at the Saginaw Valley State University Tune-Up Meet.
- Freshman Keegan Nutt cleared the pole vault bar at 13 feet, 7-1/4 inches. The mark is third all-time in school history.
- Junior Aaron Garcia achieved personal best performances in the shot put (35 feet, 7-3/4 inches) and weight throw (39 feet, 5 inches).
- Sophomore Charles Goldman tallied a career best mark of 36 feet, 9 inches in the triple jump.
- Senior Chris Davis finished third of 30 runners in the 800-meter run, clocking in with a personal-best time of 1:56.25.
- Sophomore Jonathan Holloway ran personal-best times of 7.60 seconds in the 60-meter dash and 51.80 seconds in the 400-meter dash.
- Senior Jordon Brown was second in the 200-meter dash (21.76).
- Senior Charles Miller placed seventh in the 60-meter finals (7.23).
- Olivet now focuses on the 2024 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Indoor Track & Field Championships next Saturday, February 24. Trine University is the host school.
