Bauserman finishes in seventh-place, earns All-American honors in 800 at NCAA Championships
Olivet College senior Connor Bauserman finished in seventh-place in the 800-meter run at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships. North Central College hosted the championships at the Res Rec Center in Naperville, Illinois.
NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Olivet College senior Connor Bauserman finished in seventh-place in the 800-meter run at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships. North Central College hosted the championships at the Res Rec Center in Naperville, Illinois.
Bauserman completed the race in 1:54.98. With the performance, he became the second Indoor Track & Field All-American in school history. The other was a sixth-place finish in the 800-meter run by Jalen Weaver in 2015.
Bauserman advanced to the finals after posting an indoor life-time best time of 1:53.34 in the preliminaries.
He and the rest of Olivet track and field team will leave on Monday for Atlanta, Georgia, and then compete at the Emory (Ga.) University Invitational Friday and Saturday, March 17-18.
