Track: Bauserman and Benkovsky run at Hillsdale Last Chance Meet

HILLSDALE, Mich. – Olivet College senior Andrew Benkovsky and junior Connor Bauserman competed tonight at the Hillsdale College Last Chance Meet.

Benkovsky had the best performance of the night, as he shattered the school record in the 1,500-meter run with a second-place time of 3:53.91. Benkovsky previously held the record at 4:01.48.

Bauserman was second in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:54.42. The time was 45/100th of second slower than his season-best mark of 1:53.97.

The Comets will send athletes to last chance meets next Monday, May 11, at Ohio Wesleyan University and Thursday and Friday, May 14-15, at North Central (Ill.) College.
