BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – The Olivet College men's tennis team was shutout by Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Albion College, 9-0, this afternoon at Harper Creek High School in Battle Creek.

Records: Olivet 1-9 overall, 0-3 MIAA; Albion 6-6 overall, 1-2 MIAA
- Olivet had only four players; thus the Comets defaulted the No. 3 doubles and No. 5 and 6 singles matches.
- Junior Tyler Nobel won the most games in singles play, losing 6-2, 6-1 at the No. 2 position. He also teamed with senior Austin Briggs for an 8-3 setback at No. 2 doubles.
- The Comets return to Harper Creek High School on Sunday to play Trine (Ind.) University. The match is scheduled to start at 12 p.m. The start time has been moved up due to a chance of rain in the afternoon.
