BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – The Olivet College men's tennis team slipped past Grace Christian College, 6-3, today at Minges Creek Athletic Club in Battle Creek.

Records: Olivet 1-4 overall, Grace Christian 0-4 overall
- The Comets had only five players, so the Tigers picked-up team points at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles.
- Olivet won the other two doubles flights and four of the six contested singles matches.
- The No. 1 doubles duo of sophomore Donald Doyle and freshman Benjamin Morrow cruised to an 8-1 pro-set win.
- The No. 2 doubles team of senior Austin Briggs and junior Tyler Nobel needed a tiebreaker to win a 9-8 pro-set.
- Morrow lost only two games to win 6-2, 6-0 at No. 1 singles.
- Nobel won 7-6 (5), 4-6, 10-8, at No. 2 singles.
- Doyle rallied for a 6-7 (2), 6-4, 10-8 victory at No. 3 singles.
- Briggs posted a 6-1, 4-6, 10-1 win at No. 4 singles.
- The Comets are on the road next Tuesday, March 28, to play Defiance (Ohio) College at 4 p.m.
