SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Olivet College men's tennis team started its 2018-19 season with a 9-0 loss to Indiana University-South Bend today at Lepeer Park in South Bend, Indiana.

Records: Olivet 0-1 overall, IU-South Bend 1-0 overall
- The Titans won the three doubles flights and swept the six singles matches in straight sets.
- In doubles, both the No. 1 duo of sophomore Donald Doyle and freshman Benjamin Morrow, and the No. 2 duo of senior Austin Briggs and junior Tyler Nobel lost 8-4 pro-sets.
- Doyle won the most games in singles play, dropping a 7-5, 6-0 decision at the No. 2 slot.
- Olivet hosts Alma College Saturday, Sept. 22. The match is a doubleheader with the Comet women and will be played at Harper Creek High School in Battle Creek, starting at noon.
