BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – The Olivet College men's tennis team suffered a 9-0 loss to Calvin College today at the Minges Creek Athletic Club in Battle Creek.
Playing with only five players, the Comets were forced to give default victories at No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles to the Knights. At No. 1 singles, freshman Max Grabel had the most success for Olivet, as he lost 6-4, 6-1. Freshman Ben Morris fell 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 singles.
The Comets will take a break from MIAA play Thursday afternoon when they travel to play Spring Arbor University at 4 p.m.
