Swimming and Diving: Olivet competes in double dual at Kalamazoo

KALAMZOO, Mich. – The University of Olivet men's and women's swimming and diving team competed in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) double dual meet against Kalamazoo College and Hope College. The Comets lost all four ends of the double dual.
- Men's Final Scores: Kalamazoo defeated Olivet, 166-42; Hope defeated Olivet, 173-40
- Women's Final Scores: Kalamazoo defeated Olivet, 136-53; Hope defeated Olivet, 180-29
- Location: K College Natatorium; Kalamazoo, Michigan
- Junior Seth Kading posted a season-best time of 51.71 seconds in the 100-yard freestyle.
- Freshman Carter Kauffold swam a season-best time of 1:11.66 in the 100-yard breaststroke.
- Senior Jennifer Mann finished second in the 500-yard freestyle (5:29.68) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:11.39) for Olivet's top finish. These two times along with a fifth-place time of 2:17.54 in the 200-yard individual medley were season-best performances.
- Junior Mya Kinnunen had a personal-best time of 1:04.22 in the 100-yard freestyle.
- Sophomore Kelsee Lawson completed the 1,000-yard freestyle in a season-best time of 12:26.83.
- Olivet is off until Thursday-Saturday, November 16-18, when it participates in the Malone (Ohio) University Invitational.
