Bio

Evan Shirkey is in his first season as an assistant coach for the Olivet College men’s soccer team in 2018.

Before playing collegiately, Shirkey played for the Michigan Jaguars. While playing for the Jaguars, he helped them win the state, regional, and national championship.

After graduating from Howell High School, Shirkey attended and was a member of the men's soccer at Alma College for three seasons. He transferred to Olivet and used his final season of collegiate soccer eligibility last year in 2017 at Olivet College. In between his collegiate seasons, Shirkey played for multiple amateur soccer teams such as the Michigan Stars, Oakland County FC and Carpathia FC.

Shirkey will graduate in December 2018 with a bachelor's degree in psychology from Olivet.
