KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Olivet College men's soccer team opened Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) play with a 1-0 loss against Kalamazoo College today at Mackenzie Field in Kalamazoo.
After a scoreless first half, Kalamazoo's Roy Yewah scored the only goal of the game in the 69th minute. For the game, Olivet was held to seven shots. Freshman Daniel Hampsten (Plainwell) led the way with two shots, while five other Comets each had one shot. In goal, senior Ethan Felsing (Mason) faced 16 shots and made five saves.
Olivet hosts MIAA rival Albion Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
