Men’s Golf: Olivet earns seventh at Earlham Spring Invitational

RICHMOND, Ind. – The University of Olivet men's golf team finished seventh at the Earlham (Ind.) College Spring Invitational. The two-day, 36-hole event took place at the Elks Country Club.

- Top UO Individual: Connor Jewell (+16), T23 of 58
- After shooting a 316 team score in Saturday's first round, the Comets had a 332 in today's second round for a 648 total.
- Franklin (Ind.) College took first with a 593 (301-292).
- Nolan Keeler from Spalding (Ky.) University was the individual medalist with a 145 (76-69).
- Junior Connor Jewell tied for 23rd-place in the player standings with a 156 (79-77).
- Freshman Brady Applegate was two strokes behind at 158 (76-82).
- Sophomore Mitchell Bair-Pollard carded a 168 (79-89).
- Junior Dylan Beck completed his two rounds in 172 strokes (88-84).
- Freshman Noah LaValley had an 82 in the first round before being disqualified in today's round.
- Freshman Zachary Lull was an individual scorer. He dropped nine strokes off his first round score in today's second round, finishing with a 179 (94-85).
- Olivet ends its season Friday and Saturday at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Spring Finale. Adrian College is the host school, and the tournament takes place at the Legacy Golf Club in Ottawa Lake.
