Men’s golf team finishes eighth MIAA Jamboree #2
The Olivet College men’s golf team finished in eighth-place at the second Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association jamboree of the 2019 season. Alma College hosted the jamboree on its home course, Pine River Country Club.

ALMA, Mich. – The Olivet College men's golf team finished in eighth-place at the second Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association jamboree of the 2019 season. Alma College hosted the jamboree on its home course, Pine River Country Club.

- The Comets carded a 337 team score.
- Trine (Ind.) University captured the team title with a 291.
- Nick Knowlton from Trine was the medalist with a 70.
- Junior Cameron Lemon had Olivet's best round with a 79.
- Freshman Wes Darrow and junior Nicholas Hoffman shot 83s.
- Freshman Kurtis Wolfram returned to the clubhouse with a 92.
- Freshman Isiah Strand was a stroke behind with a 93.
- The Comets participate in the one-day, 18-hole Lourdes (Ohio) College Invitational next Wednesday, Sept. 25. The outing is Legacy Golf Course in Ottawa Lake, and gets under way at 10 a.m.
