Men’s golf team is 13th at Irish Hills Intercollegiate

JACKSON, Mich. – The Olivet College men's golf team finished in 13th-place at the 2019 Irish Hills Intercollegiate, played at The Grande Golf Club in Jackson.

Par / Yardage: 72 / 6,980 yards

• The Comets posted a two-day total of 689 strokes.
• Kenyon (Ohio) College captured the team title with a 589.
• Kenyon's Eric Lifson was the tournament medalist with a 36-hole total of 142 strokes.

• Junior Nicholas Hoffman had back-to-back 81s for a two-round total of 162 strokes.
• Freshmen Wes Darrow and Kurtis Wolfram had identical two-day totals of 173.
• Freshman Isiah Strand carded a 181.

• The Comets return to the links next Saturday, Sept. 21, for the second Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association jamboree at the Pine River Country Club in Alma.
