GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Olivet College men's golf team placed seventh at the 2019 Knight Invite, hosted by Calvin College and played at the Thornapple Pointe Golf Course in Grand Rapids.

  • The Comets posted a 335 team score.
  • Trine (Ind.) University captured the team title with 306, followed by Hope and Kalamazoo tying for second with 307s.
  • Jackson Jones from Kalamazoo was the only golfer to shoot under par, as he carded a three-under 69.

  • Sophomore Nicholas Hoffman shot a five-over par 77 to share ninth-place on the player leaderboard. His rounded included two birdies, both on par 4s.
  • Senior Joey Richmond was next with a 79, including an even par 36 on the back nine.
  • Sophomore Cameron Lemon finished his round in 84 strokes.
  • Freshman Jacob Belli rounded out Olivet's lineup with a 95.
