Men’s golf team places seventh at MIAA Fall Finale
The Olivet College men’s golf team placed seventh at the 2018 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Fall Finale, played at the L.E. Kaufman Golf Course in Wyoming, Michigan.

WYOMING, Mich. – The Olivet College men's golf team placed seventh at the 2018 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Fall Finale, played at the L.E. Kaufman Golf Course in Wyoming, Michigan.
Location: L.E. Kaufman Golf Course; Wyoming, Mich.
Par / Yardage: 70 / 6,355 yards
- The Comets had a two-day total of 644 strokes, including a 318 in today's second round.
- Hope College took first-place with a two-round total of 568 strokes. With that performance, the Flying Dutchmen secured the 2018 MIAA championship.
- Sophomore Nicholas Hoffman led Olivet with a two-day total of 150 (77-73) strokes.
- Senior Joey Richmond and sophomore Cameron Lemon shot identical 157 two-round scores.
- Freshman Mason Evans completed his two rounds in 180 strokes.
- Freshman Jacob Wester had a 189.
- Olivet will resume its schedule in the spring. A schedule will be posted online when it is finalized.
