Men’s golf team finishes in eighth-place at MIAA Jamboree #1
The Olivet College men’s golf team hosted the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Jamboree #1 today at the Bedford Valley Country Club in Battle Creek. The Comets finished in eighth-place with a 333 team score.

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – The Olivet College men's golf team hosted the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Jamboree #1 today at the Bedford Valley Country Club in Battle Creek. The Comets finished in eighth-place with a 333 team score.

Par / Yardage: 72 / 6,707 yards
- Olivet's 333 was nine strokes behind seventh-place Alma College.
- Defending MIAA champion Hope College took first-place with a 286.
- Hope's Josh Gibson was the medalist with a four-under par 68.
- Sophomore Nicholas Hoffman and senior Joey Richmond shot matching 80s.
- Sophomore Cameron Lemon carded an 84.
- Freshman Mason Evans was next with a season-best low round of 89 strokes.
- Freshman Jacob Wester completed his round in 91 strokes.
- Olivet competes in the Adrian College Invitational Friday and Saturday at The Grand Golf Club in Jackson.
