Men’s golfers shares fourth-place at MIAA Jamboree #1
Led by seniors Tanor Blowers and Joey Richmond, the Olivet College men’s golf team shared fourth-place today at the first Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) jamboree of the 2017 season. Adrian College hosted the outing at the Lenawee Country Club in Adrian.

ADRIAN, Mich. – Led by seniors Tanor Blowers and Joey Richmond, the Olivet College men's golf team shared fourth-place today at the first Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) jamboree of the 2017 season. Adrian College hosted the outing at the Lenawee Country Club in Adrian.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Comets carded a 307 team to tie Kalamazoo College for fourth-place.
- Hope College and Calvin College both shot a 291 to tie for first-place.
- Adrian College was third at 298. Albion College placed sixth at 310, followed by Trine (Ind.) University in seventh at 315 and Alma College in eighth at 342.
- Justin Kapke was the medalist with a 69.
FOR THE COMETS
- Blowers and Richmond each recorded a 74.
- Senior Joseph Gauck was next with a 78.
- Freshman Zach Dowling completed his round in 81 strokes.
- Freshman Nicholas Hoffman was one stroke behind with an 82.
UP NEXT
- The next MIAA jamboree is Saturday at the Pine River Country Club in Alma.
