Men’s golf team fourth at Earlham Invitational
The Olivet College men’s golf team was fourth at the 2016 Earlham College Invitational, held today at the Forest Hills Country Club in Richmond, Indiana.

RICHMOND, Ind. – The Olivet College men's golf team was fourth at the 2016 Earlham College Invitational, held today at the Forest Hills Country Club in Richmond, Indiana.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Olivet shot a 324 team score which was four strokes behind third-place Earlham. Indiana University-East won the team title with a 309, and Hanover (Ind.) College was second at 318.
- Grant Sherard from Earlham was the medalist with a two-over par 73.
FOR THE COMETS
- Juniors Tanor Blowers and Joey Richmond tied for seventh-place with matching 79s.
- Freshman Logan Stefanko carded an 82.
- Senior Matt Sherry completed his round in 84 strokes.
- Freshman Zach Sturgill finished with a 91.
UP NEXT
- The Comets will now participate in the 36-hole Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Fall-Finale Tournament Friday and Saturday, Oct. 7-8, at the Battle Creek Country Club. Friday's round has a 1 p.m. shotgun start, while Saturday's round starts at 10 a.m.
