Men’s golf team places fifth at A.C. Eddy Invitational
The Olivet College men’s golf team placed fifth of six schools at the 2016 A.C. Eddy Invitational, played at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Indiana.
ANGOLA, Ind. – The Olivet College men's golf team placed fifth of six schools at the 2016 A.C. Eddy Invitational, played at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Indiana.
The Comets returned to the clubhouse with a 343 team score. Trine (Ind.) University, the host school, shot a 293 team score to win the team score. Corey Bremigan and Austin Tevler from Trine shared medalist honors with even par 71s.
Olivet's top three golfers were each separated by one stroke. Sophomore Tanor Blowers led the way with an 83, followed by junior Matt Sherry, 84; and senior Tony Skuratovich, 85. Senior Jake Maas carded a 91, while Sophomore Dylan Searle had a 97.
The Comets concludes their season this Saturday and Sunday, April 16-17, at the Manchester (Ind.) University Spring Invitational. The 36-hole tournament will be played at the Honeywell Golf Course in Wabash, Indiana.
