Men’s golf team opens spring slate with 13th-place finish at Steven Tyler Intercollegiate
The Olivet College men’s golf team opened its spring schedule with a 13th-place finish this afternoon at the Steven Tyler Intercollegiate, hosted by Kalamazoo College and played at The Moors Golf Club in Portage.

PORTAGE, Mich. – The Olivet College men's golf team opened its spring schedule with a 13th-place finish this afternoon at the Steven Tyler Intercollegiate, hosted by Kalamazoo College and played at The Moors Golf Club in Portage.
The Comets posted a 356 team score. Hope College won the team title with a 308. Winton Munch from Hope was the tournament medalist with a 74.
Sophomore Tanor Blowers led the way for Olivet with an 85. Junior Matt Sherry and senior Tony Skuratovich both completed their round with 88s. Senior Jake Maas shot a 95. Sophomore Dylan Searle finished with a 100.
The Comets are back in action tomorrow afternoon at the Trine (Ind.) University A.C. Eddy Invitational. The event has a 1 p.m. shotgun start.
