Men’s golf team places seventh at third MIAA Jamboree
The Olivet College men’s golf team placed seventh at the MIAA Jamboree #3, held today at Pine River Country Club in Alma.

ALMA, Mich. – The Olivet College men's golf team placed seventh at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Jamboree #3, held today at Pine River Country Club in Alma.
The Comets returned to the clubhouse with a 329 team score. Hope College took first-place with a 298, followed by Kalamazoo, 300; Trine, 303; Calvin, 306; Adrian, 308; and Albion, 323. Jack Geshay was the medalist with a two-under par 70.
Senior Benjamin Hart had Olivet's best round with a 77. Sophomore Tanor Blowers was two strokes behind with a 79. Senior Jake Maas completed his round in 85 strokes. Junior Zachary Gray shot an 88. Junior Matt Sherry rounded out the Comets' lineup with a 90.
The next jamboree is Monday, Sept. 21, at the Kalamazoo Country Club.
