Men’s golf team places third at Trine Gettig Invitational
The Olivet College men’s golf shot a spring season-best 306 team score to finish in third-place today at the Bill Gettig Invitational, hosted by Trine (Ind.) University and played at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Ind.

ANGOLA, Ind. – The Olivet College men's golf shot a spring season-best 306 team score to finish in third-place today at the Bill Gettig Invitational, hosted by Trine (Ind.) University and played at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Ind.
Owens Community College took first-place with a 290, followed by Alma College at 301. Junior Nick Julian tied for fifth in the player standings with a three-over par 73. Juniors Martin Holdren and Chris Watkins had identical scores of 77. Freshman Benjamin Hart was next with a 79. Freshman Martin Spayd completed his round in 90 total strokes.
This tournament concluded the spring schedule for the Comets.
