WOOSTER, Ohio – The Olivet College men's golf team stands in 14th-place after round one of the Nye Intercollegiate, which is being hosted by College of Wooster (Ohio) at the Wooster Country Club.
The Comets posted a 367 team score and are 14 strokes ahead of 15th-place Hiram (Ohio) College and 35 ahead of 16th-place Oberlin (Ohio) College. Wittenberg (Ohio) University is in first with a 308.
Junior Nick Julian tops Olivet with a 78 to sit in a tie for sixth-place in the player standings. Freshman Benjamin Hart carded an 87. Junior Martin Holdren is next at 93, while freshman Justin Spayd completed his round in 109 strokes.
