Men’s golf team wins third straight MIAA jamboree
Behind a one-under par 71 from freshman Drew Lasky (Marshall), the Olivet College men’s golf team won its third straight Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) jamboree today at The Medalist Golf Club in Marshall.

With the finish, the Comets also remain first in the MIAA seasonal standings after three league jamborees.
In today's round, Olivet carded a 310 team score. Hope College was second with a 313. Calvin College and Trine (Ind.) University tied for third-place with 313s.
Lasky had a 35 on the front nine and a 36 on the back nine to earn medalist honors. Following him was senior Eric Ross (Burlington, Ontario/International), who posted a 79. Seniors Brock Gleadall (Stratford, Ontario/St. Michael's Catholic) and Justin Lesansky (LaSalle, Ontario/International) each finished with an 80. Sophomore Nick Harless (DeWitt) needed 84 strokes to complete his round.
In the overall seasonal standings, Olivet leads Hope by 18 strokes, 901-919. Trine is third (928), followed by Albion (938), Calvin (941), Kalamazoo (966), Adrian (972) and Alma (975).
The fourth MIAA jamboree is scheduled for Saturday at Lenawee Country Club in Adrian.
