Men’s golf team finishes in sixth-place at Denison/Ted Barclay Invitational
The Olivet College men’s golf team opened its spring schedule with a sixth-place finish at the two-day Denison University/Ted Barclay Invitational, which was played at the Granville Golf Club in Granville, Ohio.

The Comets posted a two-round total of 608 (307-301) strokes. DePauw (Ind.) University won the team title with a 585. Wittenberg (Ohio) University and Mount Union (Ohio) College tied for second-place with 601s, while John Carroll (Ohio) University Muskingum (Ohio) College tied for fourth-place with 602s. Baldwin-Wallace (Ohio) College was one stroke behind Olivet with a 609.
Sophomore Nick Harless (DeWitt) totaled 151 strokes, including a one-over par 72 in today's second round. Senior Brock Gleadall (Stratford, Ontario/St. Michaels Catholic), junior Luke Godin (Barrie, Ontario/Innisdale Secondary) and senior Justin Lesansky (LaSalle, Ontario/International) each had a 154. Senior Eric Ross (Burlington, Ontario/International) carded a two-day total of 155.
The Comets will participate in the Trine University/A.C. Eddy Invitational Wednesday at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Indiana.
