Men's golf team finishes in third-place at MIAA Jamboree #4
The Olivet College men’s golf team finished in third-place today at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Jamboree #4, which was played at The Prairies Golf Course in Kalamazoo. It is the third straight third-place finish for the Comets at MIAA Jamborees.

Olivet finished with a team score of 310 strokes. Hope College was first at 292, followed by Tri-State (Ind.) University at 303. After four jamborees, Hope maintains its lead with a 1,189. Tri-State is next at 1,202 and Olivet is third at 1,224.
Today, junior Derrick Sayers (Battle Creek/Lakeview) placed second overall with a 72. Freshman Robbe Trout (Charlotte) posted a 78. Senior Steve Ross (Rockford), freshmen Justin Lesansky (LaSalle, Ontario/ International) and Eric Ross (Burlington, Ontario/International) all carded an 80.
The Comets are in action at the MIAA Jamboree #5 Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Ind. Action begins with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.
