Men's golf team finishes in 11th-place at the OWU Strimer Invitational
The men's golf team finished in 11th-place (out of 15 teams) at the Ohio Wesleyan University Strimer Invitational. Yesterday's first round was played at the Dornoch Golf Club. Because of the inclement weather, the second round was cancelled today.

The men's golf team finished in 11th-place (out of 15 teams) at the Ohio Wesleyan University Strimer Invitational. Yesterday's first round was played at the Dornoch Golf Club. Because of the inclement weather, the second round was cancelled today.
The Fighting Comets tallied an 18-hole team score of 347 strokes. Franklin (Ind.) College and Otterbein (Ohio) College tied for first with a 321.
Leading the way for Olivet was freshman Justin Gusczinski (Hanover-Horton) with an 84. Junior Mike Ward (Caledonia, Ontario) was next with an 85, followed by senior Jon Stapleton (Oakville, Ontario) with an 86. Freshman Joe Kiss (East Leroy) and junior Steve Ross (Rockford) each fired a round of 92 strokes.
