The men’s golf team finished in 10th-place at the two-day Ted Barclay Spring Invitational, which was being hosted by Denison (Ohio) University and the Granville Golf Club.

The Fighting Comets were tied for fourth-place entering today's round. Today, Olivet carded a team score of 311 strokes for a two-day score of 614 strokes. Otterbein (Ohio) College won the team title with a 586 (293-293).
Individually, freshman Joe Kiss (East Leroy/Harper Creek) tied for 10th. He had team-low round of 74 strokes today for a two-round total of 149 strokes. Following Kiss was junior Steve Ross (Rockford) with a 154 (74-80) and senior Jon Stapleton (Oakville, Ontario/Oakville-Trafalgar) with a 155 (74-81).
Junior Mike Ward (Caledonia, Ontario) fired a round of 80 strokes each day for a 160. Freshman Christian Rowe (Midland/Dow) finished with a 161 (84-77).
Olivet will next compete Wednesday, April 13, at the Tri-State University A.C. Eddy Invitational at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Indiana.
