Men's golf places third at MIAA Jamboree #6
The Olivet College men's golf team finished in third-place today at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree #6 at the Lenawee Country Club in Adrian.

The Fighting Comets carded a team score of 326 strokes. Hope College was first with 309 strokes. With just one jamboree remaining at the Watermark Country Club on Monday afternoon, Hope leads Calvin by 43 strokes. Olivet is nine strokes behind Calvin.
Leading the way for Olivet were juniors Mike Dinner (Oakville, Ontario/St, Ignatius of Loyola) and Jon Stapleton (Oakville, Ontario/Oakville-Trafalgar) with an 81. Senior Ryan Spencer (Chatham, Ontario/Chatham-Kent) and junior Stew Halstead (Kelowna, Ontario/Mount Boucherie) each shot an 82. Sophomore Steve Ross (Rockford High School) rounded out the Comets with an 84.
Monday's MIAA jamboree is the last tournament on Olivet's fall schedule. The Comets will compete in four or five invitationals during the spring.
