Bio

Brad Rumsey is in his 12th season as an assistant football coach in 2023. He coaches the offensive line. Rumsey is co-recruiting coordinator for the program.

Prior to joining Olivet’s staff, he spent the 2011 season as the tight ends and assistant offensive line coach at Trine (Ind.) University. Rumsey served in the same capacity at Ave Maria (Fla.) University during the 2010 season. Other coaching duties included being the offensive and defensive line coach at Concord High School in 2009 and student assistant at Hillsdale College.

Rumsey earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education from Hillsdale in 2008. He was a four-year letterwinner in football for the Chargers, playing on the offensive line and serving as a long snapper.

Rumsey lives in Homer with his wife, Carly, and son, Watson, and daughter, Wren.
