Football: Armstrong selected to D3football.com All-America third team
postseason honors continue to pour in for Olivet College senior defensive end Ryan Armstrong. Prior to tonight’s NCAA Division III National Championship game, the 16th Annual D3football.com All-America team was announced, and Armstrong has been selected to the third team.
OLIVET, Mich. – The postseason honors continue to pour in for Olivet College senior defensive end Ryan Armstrong. Prior to tonight's NCAA Division III National Championship game, the 16th Annual D3football.com All-America team was announced, and Armstrong has been selected to the third team.
Armstrong is the third football player in school history to be named to the D3football.com All-America team. This season, he was second on the team with 61 total tackles, including 22.5 tackles for loss yardage. Ten of the tackles for loss were quarterback sacks, with one being in the end zone for a safety.

Armstrong is the only player from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association to receive this honor in 2014.
